One does not need to be reminded of the importance of vitamins B and C in any diet even though they are not stored by the body (except for vitamin B12). Without considering any special conditions that may be caused by diseases and/or abuse of recreational substances, a lack of vitamin B, depending on its type, and vitamin C may result in many health problems, such as anemia or other types of immunodeficiency. They, in turn, may be the cause of vulnerability to various infections, including those that are opportunistic in nature. Again, let us not focus on extreme scenarios, such as decreased immunosurveillance, which, in the case of cancer, may cause the body to give up any defense. Rather let us look at this matter from the point of view of an average person. We know, for instance, that such deficiency leads to fatigue, both physical and mental, and even skin rashes. Physical and mental weakness has no place in sports and MUST B+C SPORT could provide your body with proper protection.

B vitamins help convert food into energy. Moreover, they fight infections, promote a healthy appetite, ensure proper eyesight and digestion (protecting against gastrointestinal problems), lower the cholesterol level, suppress cramps, foster the growth of red blood cells, ease arthritis symptoms, play an important role in muscular co-ordination, benefit the skin, hair and nails, and promote a healthy heart and liver. Hyperhomocysteinemia, or a high level of homocysteine in the blood caused by the deficiency of vitamins B6, B9 and B12, could lead to coronary artery disease and high blood pressure. Some forms of vitamin B are also crucial for pregnant women and ensure the proper growth of the embryo, thus promoting prenatal health. Moreover, they participate in different neurological processes making it easier to focus, helping to boost brain function, and preventing some behavioral changes and psychological conditions such as confusion, dementia, paranoia, or depression.

The deficiency of vitamin C could cause reactions similar to those resulting from the lack of vitamin B and weaken the immune system even further, slowing down healing processes, leading to corkscrew-shaped hair, weak bones, joint pains, gum bleeding and tooth loss. It may also lead to many skin changes, such as bumps, dryness, easy bruising, slow healing of wounds, and even mental ones, such as fatigue and poor mood. The effect on skin, tendons, ligaments and bones is connected with collagen formation, which is impossible without this vitamin. Being a strong antioxidant, vitamin C helps to reduce the risk of many chronic diseases such as inflammations and oxidative stresses (e.g. scurvy or pneumonia). Besides encouraging the production of white blood cells, it protects them from free radicals. Studies on animals suggest that vitamin C lowers blood pressure due to its relaxing effect on blood vessels,* while studies on humans show that 500 mg of vitamin C taken for a minimum of 4 weeks significantly reduces “bad” LDL cholesterol and blood triglycerides.** In effect, vitamin C plays an important role in promoting cardiovascular health. Moreover, by improving iron absorption, it helps reduce the risk of anemia in those vulnerable.

The highest quality formula of MUST B+C SPORT is one of the most complete. It contains only water-soluble vitamins, no GMO ingredients and has been laboratory tested. It provides the most optimal vitamin dosage, including 500 mg of vitamin C, and all eight B vitamins, with an increased amount of vitamins B1, B2 and vitamin B12, which is not present in vegan diets. All this in one convenient tablet and a 90-day supply container to help keep you in good health and ready for any sports challenges. Just one of many reasons why you MUST have it.
